WiFiWalk android performing a wireless survey

Coming 2027

WiFiWalk

Autonomous wireless surveys, on foot

A walking lidar and optics android that performs complete wireless survey walks — capturing signal, interference and coverage data everywhere a person can go, at a fraction of the cost of a manual survey team.

Where we are

In initial development. Prototype testing in 2027.

WiFiWalk is in its initial development phase at SunMarkLabs. The platform pairs a bipedal android chassis with a lidar sensor head and an optical camera array, walking real floor plans while continuously sampling the wireless environment — the same route a technician would walk, but tireless, repeatable and instrumented on every step.

We expect to be testing the prototype in 2027. What you see below is what the platform is being built to deliver: venue-scale heatmaps and actionable remediation reports, produced automatically from a single autonomous walk.

Stay in touch for more detail as testing approaches.

What it will see

Wireless heatmaps, anywhere people walk
